Outside the show

Last night saw the opening of Vic Reeves ’Where Eagles Tremble’, our new exhibition at Mews of Mayfair, just off New Bond Street, London. The evening was a huge success with the odd celebrity friend of Vic’s turning up to view the show, some purchasing paintings, others just having a drink with other guests.

By 6.30pm the small shop-space-turned-gallery was packed, with guests spilling out through the open doors at the front into the courtyard and through to Mews’ ground floor bar. The weather couldn’t have been more perfect, with clear blue skies and mild temperatures giving the feeling of a summer evening. As the wine flowed, art lovers and friends and family of Vic, Eyestorm and Mews continued to arrive. The crowd gradually moved outside and dispersed as the private view came to an end, while Vic and his small party continued next door at Mews.

We don’t often blow our own trumpet but we feel couldn’t have asked for a more successful night and think a pleasant evening was had by all.

View the paintings by Vic Reeves.
