Annie Deakin from interior design website, mydeco.com, interviewed Vic at his new exhibition in Mayfair this month. The interview was centered around the creation of his art and the link with his comedian side.
Vic says of his current exhibition: “...is a fairly figurative narrative show. I started off doing a painting of a sky car, which is a flying car, and I put a dramatic title on it, ‘The Tormented Skies’. I thought it was very funny because it’s one of those World War 2 films but the aeroplane is obviously not sufficient to warrant a film made about it. I started doing more and more of them with these titles on them. Then I wrote a story about the artist, Alan Todd, who I invented so it became a kind of narrative show.”
